Job summary

Overland Corporation seeks an experienced Civil Project Superintendent to oversee heavy civil construction in the North Texas area. The role centers on scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, staffing, and owner satisfaction, with focus on aggregate base, earth grading, pipe work, and asphalt paving.

The ideal candidate coordinates crews, equipment, subcontractors, and project resources to deliver high-quality infrastructure safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; construction-related education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy civil construction experience; 5+ years preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to travel and coordinate with authorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field supervision and multiple crews.
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain an injury-free workplace.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily construction operations to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment for maximum productivity.
• Ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, foremen, and owners throughout execution.
• Participate in project meetings with owners, clients, municipalities, and authorities.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, production tracking, and revenue forecasting.
