Job summary

GeoTek in Corona, CA is seeking senior PEs and Project Managers to join our local office. The Project Manager will lead technically sound projects, oversee operations, and manage client communications to deliver value for our clients.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or higher in Civil/Geotechnical engineering with PE, or a Geology degree with CEG, and possess independent decision-making and broad project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil or Geotechnical engineering with PE
• Bachelors in Geology with CEG
• Must have independent decision-making on project problems/methods
• Sound and diversified experience with fundamental engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Compliance with the quality system requirements.
• Provide services, marketing and direct marketing program for the company.
• Responsible for technical conduct of the projects.
• Directly or indirectly supervises all personnel assigned to the projects.
• Compliance with the quality system requirements for review and approval of all reports.
• Responsible for the quality and content of all project reports.
• Writes or assists in the writing of complex reports.
• Approves proposals and project work scopes and budgets.
• Assures all work has a signed contract and obtains signed contracts.
• Monitors invoicing for projects and communicates work scope changes with clients.
• Monitors and assists with contract changes and approvals from clients with written authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with GeoTek Quality System.
• Other essential job functions as assigned by supervisor.
