Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager for our Charlotte, NC office. You will lead a team of civil project engineers, designers and CAD technicians, ensuring land development projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will apply extensive project management and business development skills to tackle design challenges, build sustainable communities, and drive profitability while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, land surveying, planning, or related discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred.
• Ten or more years of experience in A/E and 3–5 years of project management.
• Experience with water/wastewater systems, water treatment and distribution.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of civil project engineers, designers and CAD technicians.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines and client expectations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external clients and agencies.
• Develop proposals, market Bowman capabilities, and secure repeat business.
• Ensure projects meet high professional standards and financial targets.
