Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager for our Missouri practice to lead transportation/roadway design projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, oversee schedule and budgets, and drive winning, compliant DOT highway projects while mentoring staff and collaborating with senior leaders.

The role requires a PE in Missouri or ability to obtain within four months and at least twenty years of experience designing

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in MO or ability to obtain within 4 months.
• Minimum of twenty years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.
• Experience with state DOT highway projects preferred.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate with clients.

Wilson & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager with a background in Transportation/Roadway Design to join our Missouri practice. You will work closely with clients, other project managers and support staff to ensure the successful completion of projects. The ability to effectively coordinate staff efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions to project requirements is a must. Job duties will include:Plan and manage all aspects of large, multi-discipline engineering projectsIndependently coordinate work of engineers and plan team assignments throughout project developmentEstablish client relationships and be involved with marketing, contractual, and design meetingsCoordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure work is completed on scheduleWork with Midwest Civil Practice Lead and/or Client Account Lead for project reviews as neededPerform other duties as necessaryRequired Skills:Proven ability to manage multiple team members and coordinate effectively with other engineers and technicians.Self-starter with the ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff and clients.Required Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum.Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri or ability to obtain within 4 months.Minimum of twenty years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.Knowledgeable of and experienced with federal, state and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects.Specific experience with winning and executing projects for state DOTs related to highways, streets, or sidewalks/trails is preferred.Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000About Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
