Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with exposure to commercial cases.
• Experience in trial advocacy is highly preferred.
• Professional, client-oriented approach with strong ethics.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to partners and clients.
• Prepare witnesses and participate in depositions and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in hearings and trials in state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex legal issues.
• Mentor junior associates and support firm business development.

Skills

Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Experience handling discovery and motion practice

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Education

JD from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
