A leading design firm in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee innovative commercial and residential land development projects. The ideal candidate will manage project budgets, coordinate internal and external teams, and ensure financial success while mentoring junior staff. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and possess over 7 years of experience in land development projects, with strong Civil 3D skills and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on Land Development projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of the projects, start to finish.
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project.
• Provide construction services including site visits and review shop drawings.
• Key contact with the client and their consultants.
• Assemble consultant team for the project.
• Coordinate all trades to achieve complete contract documents.
• Conduct project code searches and analysis.
• Be responsible for the financial success of projects.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, and team members.

Skills

Civil 3D skills

Strong written and verbal skills including public speaking

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a Civil Engineering or related program

PE (Professional Engineering) license preferred
