Qualifications
- 5+ years estimating heavy civil, grading or earthwork projects.
- Experience pricing large-scale mass grading and site development.
- Proficient in digital takeoff and earthwork modeling software.
- Strong Excel skills; scheduling software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read plans, specs and geotechnical reports to build a complete scope.
- Run earthwork take-offs and cut/fill analysis in digital tools.
- Price grading, excavation, import/export, site concrete and paving scopes.
- Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotes; build bid packages on schedule.
- Walk sites and attend pre-bid meetings to catch unshown conditions.
- Handoff awarded work to operations and track changes.
- Track bid results and costs to sharpen future pricing.
