B.H. Inc. in the United States is hiring a full-time Civil and Excavation Senior Estimator to prepare cost estimates for earthwork, grading, and underground utilities.

The role includes site visits, plan/spec review, and collaboration with the project team to produce thorough estimates. Located at our North Salt Lake, Ogden or Saint George offices, the estimator will leverage tools like Excel, Bluebeam, Planswift and B2W to deliver accurate bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 5–10 years of experience as an estimator for earthwork, grading, or underground projects is required.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, and owners.
• Ready to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek and Estimate(B2W).

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for earthwork and utility projects.
• Conduct takeoffs and pricing for earthwork, grading, and underground utilities.
• Evaluate project plans and specifications.
• Visit project sites to understand site conditions and limitations.
• Collaborate with team to build comprehensive estimates.
