Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Civil Estimator to lead our Civil Precon Department. You will oversee cost estimates for paving projects, drive bid integrity, and mentor junior staff to improve processes.

The role requires 5+ years in civil estimating, proficiency with Excel and Bluebeam, and experience with HeavyBid and related tools. You will coordinate with management, attend pre-bid meetings, and help win work through accurate, timely bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the civil industry.
• Proven ability to estimate a range of civil projects (excavation, paving, grading).
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Must be able to submit bids on time and mentor junior estimators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Lead bid processes for public and private sector projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements.
