Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in Syracuse seeks a Senior Civil Engineer and Team Leader to oversee public infrastructure projects. This role involves leading a team, managing budgets, and fostering client relationships to enhance community resilience. Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, 15+ years in public infrastructure, and knowledge of AutoDesk Civil 3D. Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of stormwater and water infrastructure design, and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary public infrastructure projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and state clients.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Provide quality assurance and quality control oversight on design deliverables.
