Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• PE license in at least one state, with ability to obtain others.
• 4+ years of experience in land development or renewable energy design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience managing detailed design for large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record and assist with project design team management.
• Collaborate with design managers and project managers to create site layouts in Civil 3D for utility-scale and distributed generation renewable energy projects.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely completion.
• Review project plans and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with environmental, water resource, survey, and construction teams for seamless execution.
• Perform civil site design computations including mass grading, earthwork, and road design.
• Lead creation of civil sheet sets including grading, stormwater, and access road design.
• Resolve design challenges with creative problem-solving.
• Travel: Less than 10% required.
