Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Professional Engineer for our Railroad Services team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will lead site design for various industrial facilities and oversee utility design, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license in Minnesota, and 5-10 years of relevant experience. Our hybrid work policy promotes collaboration with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in civil/site design and utility infrastructure.
• Experience in railroad-related projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site design for industrial facilities such as railyards and administrative offices.
• Oversee utility design including water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage multi-disciplinary projects from concept through construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Support business development through client engagement.
