Job summary

City of Wilsonville is seeking an experienced civil engineer to join the Engineering Division at either the Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer level. The role blends technical design, project management, and public service, delivering transportation, utility, and other infrastructure projects that support Wilsonville’s growth and quality of life.

The successful candidate will lead complex projects, coordinate consultants, review development proposals, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred or must be obtainable in Oregon within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation, water, wastewater, stormwater, and other public infrastructure projects.
• Manage capital improvement projects and coordinate consultants/contractors.
• Review development proposals and provide technical analyses and recommendations.
• Present information to stakeholders and City leadership.
• Mentor junior staff and help advance engineering priorities.
