Wilson Engineers, a respected Nevada-based firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer – Project Manager to join our Reno or Minden office. Lead project planning, client coordination, and design delivery for water and wastewater projects.

You will oversee construction documents, codes compliance, team leadership, and business development activities, with PE licensure and 8+ years required.

Qualifications

• Professionally licensed PE required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil engineering.
• Ability to manage a staff and lead project teams.
• Strong reading and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing abilities.
• Familiarity with CAD software and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents, including drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure high-quality design and documentation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams, ensuring high-quality design and documentation.
• Perform building code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control reviews of internal and consultant deliverables.
• Coordinate construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site observations, and inspections.
• Support business development efforts through client presentations, proposals, and relationship building.
• Maintain organized project records and stay current on building codes, industry standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
• Can manage a staff.
