Job summary

T2 Utility Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead utility design/construction projects in Texas. You will coordinate boundary surveys, right‑of‑way mapping, ALTA, and final mapping deliverables while overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.

Responsibilities include client liaison, QA/QC oversight, preparing proposals and scopes of work, tracking project costs, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Licensed in engineering (PE), surveying or geology, or 4-year degree plus 3 years in a utility field, or 8 years in utilities.
• 2 years as a Project Manager in the Utilities division is acceptable.
• BSc/MSc Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction degree.
• Ten years of related/relevant experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with designers, utility agencies and clients and support relationships.
• Manage boundary surveys, ALTA, and final mapping deliverables.
• Oversee project planning: scope, budget, schedule and resources.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery per standards.
• Provide QA/QC oversight for high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates; support performance.
• Track costs, prepare progress reports and assist with invoices and change orders.
• Promote services and assist business development with opportunities.
• Monitor market trends to inform strategic planning.
• Maintain strong client communication and service satisfaction.
