Job summary

Antares is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the deployment of the R1 microreactor from factory to site. You will evaluate prospective sites, create modular site designs, and coordinate across engineering teams to ensure rapid, safe installations.

The role spans planning to commissioning, with collaboration across regulatory, licensing, construction, and operations to scale deployments while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience in industrial, power, defense or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with site development including grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and civil infrastructure.
• Experience developing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Working knowledge of civil engineering codes and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering activities supporting deployment of the Antares R1 microreactor.
• Evaluate deployment sites for geotechnical conditions, grading, drainage, utilities, transport access, constructibility, and permitting.
• Develop standardized site layouts for repeatable deployment across applications.
• Design site grading, drainage, stormwater management, access roads, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate with reactor, structural, mechanical, electrical, licensing, manufacturing, construction teams.
• Interface with customers, EPC contractors, government agencies, and regulatory organizations.
