Job summary

Energy Vault seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to provide expert Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural input for energy storage and data center projects from early planning through close-out. You will manage earthworks, drainage, foundations, and electrical interfaces, collaborating with multiple disciplines and managing site visits to Texas initially, with travel as needed.

Your background includes a PE‑or equivalent, 5+ years in civil design/construction, and strong foundations and drainage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, typically post‑graduation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the U.S. preferred.
• Extensive general civil engineering design and construction experience.
• Experience in the power industry with understanding of electrical grid requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 50%.
• Strong background in foundation and structural design and construction.
• Extensive experience in site grading and drainage design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of safe and efficient design of Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural aspects of energy projects.
• Support execution planning, project estimating, and concept‑level site design during pre‑construction.
• Provide technical review of bids and participate in design management and value engineering.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and NCRs during construction; maintain QA/QC presence.
• Ensure accurate as‑built records and quality documents for Civil elements at project close-out.
