Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Agriculture Team in Wisconsin. You will deliver world-class design, permitting, planning, and consulting services to agricultural facilities while collaborating with the Agriculture Leadership team to influence strategy and growth.

The role offers leadership in high-impact projects, strong client relations, and opportunities to expand market expertise across multiple domains within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of seven years of experience preferred.
• Agricultural background is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in project management, client interaction, marketing, and business development.
• Experience with proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in HydroCAD or equivalent storm water modeling software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and deadline-driven with a positive, collaborative mindset.
• Valid Driver's License and Proof of Automobile Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving waste transfer, storage/processing systems, storm water systems, water quality, and building expansion/permitting.
• Coordinate project work with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Secure project permits through WDNR, ACOE, NRCS, DATCP and local authorities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging these connections to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Assist the Agriculture Team in client retention and proactive business development strategies.
• Collaborate across market teams for cross-functional projects.
