Kimley-Horn's Eden Prairie, MN office is seeking a Civil Designer with 8+ years of land development experience to join our team. You will prepare detailed site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related drafting tools.

In this role you will mentor CAD staff, ensure quality drawings, and coordinate with project engineers and planners to deliver residential, commercial, and industrial projects on time and within standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant land development experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley software.
• Strong communication and ability to mentor CAD staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting and plan standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans.
• Quality-check complex drawings and calculations.
• Supervise and train CAD staff.
• Coordinate work to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
