Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Civil Designer 3 to join our NE Engineering group in our offices. You will collaborate with project teams to advance civil design using CAD standards and Civil 3D, delivering mass grading and corridor work with quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, an associate degree, a valid driver's license, and a proven ability to mentor junior CAD staff while meeting project deadlines and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced CAD techniques and CAD standards proficiency.
• Knowledge of project design development and grading tools.
• Evidence of mentoring or guiding CAD staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs and guides others on deliverables, focusing on CAD standards, software use and data management.
• Manages tasks with deadlines and scope to ensure timely project delivery.
• Mentors junior CAD Operators, provides solutions and recommendations.
• Works independently under general instructions with routine project review.
• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication with project teams.
