Job summary

Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer and Project Manager to lead site development and public improvement projects in Junction City, KS. The role involves planning, design coordination, and client liaison to ensure timely project delivery.

The candidate will oversee a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Three years of relevant experience managing projects.
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering policy and procedures is a plus.
• Ability to obtain KS or MO PE license within 60 days of hire.
• Consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and QAQC plans for site development and public improvement projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day workflow on assigned projects including studies, reports, calculations.
• Engage with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide guidance.
