Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group, working on state-of-the-art industrial facilities and leading civil design, site development, grading, and earthwork calculations.

You will contribute to schedule and technical quality while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and mentoring teammates. The role supports a hybrid work policy with proximity to Jacobs offices in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to get licensed within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with large scale industrial projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Site development, site master planning and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain design.
• Designing gravitational wastewater systems.
• Prepare grading plans including earthwork balancing.
• Provide erosion and sediment control plans and permit support.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
