Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI) seeks an experienced Superintendent for projects in Southern Connecticut, focusing on foundation excavation and related safety systems. The ideal candidate will lead field teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with foundation excavation and support of excavation systems.
• Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote job site safety and safe work practices.
• Lead manpower planning, material quantities, equipment needs to meet the short‑term schedule.
• Manage subcontractors on site to support the project schedule.
• Monitor performance and productivity to ensure compliance with scope, specs, quality, and safety.
• Participate in weekly productivity analysis with management to manage budget, quality and schedule.
• Maintain daily project documentation using HeavyJob and other tools.
• Supervise foremen, laborers, and subcontractors; liaise between field engineering and crews.
• Conduct quality inspections and coordinate onsite testing and inspections.
