Qualifications

• A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. Credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for experience gained within the last ten (10) years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute citywide investigations to prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse of governmental programs and activities involving city funds.
• Serve as the technical liaison with multi-jurisdictional legal authorities for special investigations of an extremely complex and sensitive nature.
• Interview subjects and witnesses, conduct field investigations and overt/covert surveillance, and report investigatory findings.
• Draft subpoenas and summons requests and testify before administrative hearings and legal proceedings; perform related work as required.
