Job summary

The City of Omaha is seeking a City Planner-Environmental Planner to work on advanced planning across neighborhoods, housing, and redevelopment. You will research, prepare plans, and coordinate with departments to implement the City Master Plan, while applying strong zoning and GIS skills.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and relevant planning experience, with expertise in urban development, real estate, and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of zoning and administering related ordinances.

• Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
