Job summary

Amgen Inc. in North Carolina (Holly Springs) seeks a Senior CIP/SIP Process Engineer to lead planning, design, construction, and operation of Drug Substance cleaning and sterilization systems.

You will be part of the Engineering Technical Authority team, supporting global network standards and capital projects. The role focuses on CIP/SIP, caustic cleaning, glass wash, and autoclave systems, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or higher.
• Master’s degree a plus; PE license preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for CIP/SIP cleaning systems design, construction, start-up, and support.
• Lead CIP/SIP expertise within Amgen’s global network and ensure robust cleaning tech.
• Support ANC2 capital project design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Troubleshoot operations, drive improvements, and develop maintenance standards.
• Advance digital tools for cleaning system optimization; travel up to 30%.
