Job summary

Redbock - an NES Fircroft company in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced CIP Development & Cleaning Validation Consultant to support biologics manufacturing. You will execute cleanability studies, TOC sampling, and CIP cycle development for new systems and equipment.

The role requires hands-on lab experience, collaborating with Validation, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure GMP compliance and robust cleaning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related technical field.
• 5+ years in Cleaning Validation, CIP development or related engineering in pharma/biotech.
• Hands-on TOC swab and rinse sampling experience.
• Experience with cleanability/degradation studies in lab settings.
• On-floor CIP cycle development and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong GMP knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing.
• Collaborative teamwork and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cleanability and degradation studies to optimize cleaning processes.
• Perform TOC swab and rinse sampling to evaluate cleaning effectiveness.
• Execute cleaning validation and CIP cycle development protocols.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot CIP cycles for equipment and vessels.
• Collaborate with Validation, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams during startup and implementation.
• Analyze cleaning process data and provide technical recommendations.
• Assist in troubleshooting CIP performance issues.
• Participate in protocol execution and review validation documentation.
• Support implementation of new CIP skids and cleaning systems.
• Maintain GMP compliance and site procedures.
