Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a Customer Identity Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our customer identity platform. You will own CIAM lifecycle, authentication policies, and platform integrations across multiple customer-facing products.

Key responsibilities include configuring CIAM services on PingOne, onboarding new apps, and leading incident and change management for authentication systems. A strong automation mindset and scripting ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating CIAM platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, SAML.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain CIAM services on PingOne, including authentication policies.
• Onboard new applications, APIs, and services into the CIAM ecosystem.
• Manage platform lifecycle activities: patching, maintenance, capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and procedures for identity services.
• Build automation for account lifecycle and access provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with product/dev teams on secure integration patterns.
• Monitor authentication performance and handle errors with data-driven insights.
• Serve as escalation point for complex authentication issues.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for CIAM systems.
• Propose CIAM strategy through metrics, threat analysis, and best practices.
