Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive measurable improvements across manufacturing and logistics operations at our South Chesterfield, VA site. You will co-own site initiatives, coach Lean capabilities, and lead Kaizen events, using SQDIP metrics, 0DOVER framework, and data-driven dashboards to deliver sustainable results.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree, 3-7 years CI experience, and proficiency with CAD and ERP systems; you will partner

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 3-7 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
• 2+ years Project Management experience.
• Experience with TPS/Lean Fundamentals and lean tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Deploy SQDIP visual management boards and standard management routines.
• Lead Kaizen events and value stream mapping to improve processes.
• Analyze production processes and provide management with actionable reports.
• Build KPI dashboards in Power BI or similar.
