Job summary

TransMarket Group in Chicago is seeking Senior Quantitative Traders to advance trading strategies in Chinese commodities and related markets. You will work with a team to optimize risk, analytics, and execution across global markets.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in quantitative trading, strong finance/math background, and a disciplined approach to profitability. This onsite role offers a competitive compensation package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience trading Chinese Commodities and pertinent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of the Chinese futures market structure.
• Demonstrated passion for financial markets, finance, and trading.
• Deep understanding of finance, math, and statistics.
• Attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize expertise in relative value market fundamentals, quantitative modeling, and risk management in the Chinese commodities space.
• Build and maintain quantitative model tools and analytics.
• Manage real-time execution of trading system.
• Collaborate with Senior Traders and Junior Traders to contribute to learnings and strategies.
• Mentor Junior Traders and promote their learning on the desk.
