Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Mental Health or Criminal Justice.
• At least two years of Child Protective Investigations related experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and access to privately owned vehicle with insurance.
• Willing to work on-call rotation that includes weekends, holidays and overnight.
• At least two years of supervisory/managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of child protective investigators and support staff.
• Plan and direct their work, motivate, train and evaluate employees.
• Have authority to hire, transfer, suspend, discharge, assign, reward or discipline subordinate employees.
• Communicate with families and community resources while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate case files and prepare investigative reports.
