Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia’s Child Development Lab seeks a Senior Child Development Associate to care for and educate preschool children aged 2 1/2 to 28 months, and up to 5 years old. You will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, assess progress, and communicate with families.

You will collaborate with the teaching team and practicum students to maintain a culturally responsive, developmentally sound program. Shift is 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with at least 6 months of experience.
• 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for and educate preschool children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years to 28 months.
• Plan, prepare, implement and evaluate curriculum activities.
• Develop individual learning goals and conduct developmental assessments.
• Collaborate with teaching team, other faculty and practicum students to maintain a developmentally sound program.
