Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking a Senior Chemist based in Peabody, Massachusetts to lead the development and commercialization of epoxy adhesives. You will formulate and innovate adhesive technologies while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Polymer Chemistry and has proven experience in product commercialization and hands-on formulation. This role involves collaboration with various departments and occasional travel to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required with hands-on experience in formulation and commercialization of epoxies.
• Experience with scale-up and manufacturing transfer.
• Knowledge of structure-property relationships essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and development of epoxy adhesive technologies.
• Drive projects from concept through commercialization.
• Conduct laboratory work for formulation and development.

Skills

Epoxy adhesive formulation

Chemical analysis techniques (DSC, DMA, FTIR, etc.)

Product commercialization

Hands-on formulation experience

Education
