The Marathon Carson Refinery located in Carson, California is seeking an experienced Senior Chemical Process Design Engineer (POG) Process Optimization and Growth to contribute to refinery/ organizational long-term strategy development and identifies opportunities to increase throughput, improve yields, increase reliability and optimize energy use in process units. This position will develop process designs for new projects and unit modifications, including PFDs, P&IDs, and heat/material balances. The available onsite schedules for the position are 9/80, 5/40 or 4/1, after hours calls may require infrequently and support of TAR project related implementation every few years. Core hours: 8 AM - 3 PM.
