Job summary

Brightleaf Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Production Manager to lead all manufacturing operations at the specialty chemical plant. You will ensure safe, efficient, compliant production while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement.

The role requires 10+ years in chemical manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership, knowledge of batch processing and PSM, and experience with SAP or ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related Engineering field.
• Industry experience in chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Lead and develop teams including supervisors, operators and technicians.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems such as SAP is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations at the plant.
• Incorporate best practices and performance improvements.
• Develop production schedules and maintenance plans with cost controls.
• Maintain and continuously improve quality and throughput.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs: output, yield, downtime, OEE.
• Mentor, coach and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and training.
