Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Chemical Lab SME to guide the Chemistry Lab staff at AEDC, Arnold AFB, TN. This role provides technical direction for safe, analytical testing in support of the Air Force mission.

The candidate will oversee training, document procedures, and maintain the LIMS, while ensuring QA, audits, and accreditation readiness. U.S. citizenship is required. Regular, part-time/on-call status with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory using multiple analytical instruments.
• Experience operating analytical laboratory instrumentation, developing new analytical methods, troubleshooting instrumentation, and interpreting data.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Chemistry Lab staff and provide technical direction for analytical testing.
• Lead development, review, approval, and update of lab policies and processes.
• Maintain accreditations with relevant agencies and DoD JOAP program.
• Implement and maintain the Chemistry Laboratory QA program.
• Assist in budget development and management for the lab.
• Plan as QA Officer; perform data quality reviews and ensure audits are addressed.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and corrective actions; manage LIMS.
