Job summary

Premier Research invites applications for a Senior Change Orders Associate to join the Proposal & Contracts team. You will help biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies transform ideas into new medicines, devices, and diagnostics, supporting budget development for Change Order budgets.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Business Development, Finance, and Project Management, with a focus on timely budgeting and accurate cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or international equivalent in sciences or business.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant industry experience including three years in budget development.
• Understanding CRO services and clinical trial budgeting.
• Strong math skills and ability to apply basic accounting/finance concepts.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Promote commercial and operational success by coordinating with departments to develop budgets for change orders.
• Interface with Business Development, Finance, Contract Development, and project managers to ensure accurate budgets.
• Manage the budget development lifecycle for change orders as needed through the study.
• Coordinate inputs, establish schedules, and escalate issues to meet final budget timelines.
• Prepare resource/service fees using spreadsheets and assist in departmental reviews.
• Assist in presenting Change Order budgets to customers when requested.
