Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of month-end close, financial reporting and accounting management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to project manage and support multiple clients at once.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter, who enjoys multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional MS Office skills with experience in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp, Brex, Carta, Rippling, Gusto and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting workflows, month-end close and timely financial statement preparation for multiple clients, while providing excelling client service.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and compliance support (including sales tax, property tax, state registrations). Work with external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
• Training and management of Associates and Senior Associates to ensure all financial reporting and compliance filing deadlines are met.
• Proficiency in modern cloud accounting tools and applications; ability to structure controls and process using such tools.
