Job summary

PSI Services offers a Senior Test Developer role that blends item editing, item bank management, and test creation within certification programs. The position is full-time and permanent, with flexible hours around core availability, and remote work with occasional travel up to 20% for meetings and workshops.

You will oversee client programs, facilitate development meetings with stakeholders, and maintain test delivery software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of professional test development experience.
• Experience advising clients on large-scale testing programs preferred.
• Experience with project management processes and tools preferred.
• Strong proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain clients’ item banks in proprietary testing software.
• Update items and classifications in the item bank per workflows.
• Edit items for grammar, spelling, and client style guides.
• Assemble test forms that meet criteria and document results.
• Lead test development meetings with client representatives and SMEs.
• Train item writers and monitor progress toward assignments.
• Document decisions from test development meetings.
• Develop and maintain timelines for test development activities and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Communicate requirements and progress to clients and SMEs.
• Maintain knowledge of proprietary testing software.
