Job summary

Truist is seeking a seasoned security engineer to advance automated certificate deployment and lifecycle management across enterprise platforms. You will work on installation, deployment, and validation across servers, load balancers, and web servers, collaborating with applications and infrastructure teams to reduce risk and manual effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Deep specialized knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
• Deep knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for certificate installation and binding across enterprise platforms.
• Extend Venafi issuance/renewal into end-to-end lifecycle automation.
• Develop automation frameworks using Ansible, APIs, and scripting for consistent certificate installs.
• Integrate certificate automation with load balancers, web servers, and application servers.
• Onboard systems to automated certificate deployment, reducing manual errors.
• Establish standardized deployment patterns for certificate installation.
