Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Production Specialist III Cell Therapy CT-MOD in Berkeley, CA to manufacture clinical cell therapy drug substance and support new product introductions with BD and MSAT. This role sits at the interface of development and GMP manufacturing in a cross-functional, science-driven environment.

You will perform operations across solution prep, cell expansion, culture and fill/finish, author controlled documents, support deviations and CAPA, and help train the CT-MOD team while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of cGMP biologics or cell therapy manufacturing experience with hands-on work in solution preparation, cell expansion/culture, and aseptic fill/finish.
• Experience with single-use technology systems, setup, operation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical manufacturing operations across solution prep, cell expansion, culture, and final fill with adherence to cGMP.
• Participate in new product introductions into CT-MOD with BD and MSAT support.
• Manufacture products across phases from clinical through launch and document phase-appropriate differences.
