A prominent engineering firm in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Senior Level CEI Inspector to join their team. This role involves managing construction inspections, acting as the owner's representative on projects, and ensuring quality in transportation construction. Applicants should have at least five years of relevant experience and strong skills in communication and organization. Preferred certifications include SCDOT and Nuclear Gauge certifications. Qualifications

• Five-plus years of experience in Construction Engineering and Inspection on road and/or bridge transportation construction projects is preferred.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Travel may be required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Act as the Assistant Project Manager on construction projects.
• Perform inspection of individual construction phases.
• Represent the CEI presence on projects as the owner’s representative.
• Review and direct inspection duties of all project inspectors.
• Perform basic surveying tasks and maintain records.
