Job summary

HiredFirst in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Sr. Special Procedures Technologist on a contract basis to perform and assist with cardiac and vascular interventional imaging procedures, and to operate fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment during cath lab cases.

The role requires 3+ years in special procedures/interventional radiology, an RT (CA) license, BLS/CPR, fluoroscopy, and HLFS/PVMB/TEAM/CPI certifications; associate degree required with bachelor’s preferred; ARRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• ARRT certification: Preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) – California: Required.
• BLS/CPR certification: Required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required.
• HLFS & PVMB/TEAM/CPI certifications: Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac and vascular interventional imaging procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment during cath lab cases
• Monitor patient status, support physicians, and ensure procedural safety
• Document procedures, instruct patients, and support team training/mentorship
