Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Catering Director to lead large-scale catering operations at a prominent university campus in Albany, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in catering/events, with 1–3 years managing high-volume operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday events.
• Food Handlers & Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-scale catering operations, from event booking to menu development, pricing, and administration.
• Lead execution of catering events of all sizes, ensuring high-quality service from BEOs.
• Drive annual marketing strategy, contract negotiations, and client-facing sales support.
• Own financial performance, sales targets, food/labor costs, and departmental accounting.
• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing catering team.
