Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Senior Catering Cook in Aiken, USA. You will prepare and create nutritious dishes, prioritize customer service, and maintain high food quality at all times.

You’ll join a team focused on reducing waste and serving guests across multiple meal periods with attention to safety and presentation. The role requires 4+ years of related experience, flexible shifts, and a commitment to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follow complex recipes and product directions.
• Produce small to large batches using classical and contemporary cooking techniques; garnish as required.
• May oversee production staff, train and assign tasks.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Pay Range: $18 - $22

What You’ll Do:As a Senior Catering Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve. You provide the highest quality of food service to customers at all times .

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follows complex recipes and/or product directions
• Produces small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
• May have oversight over the production staff train and assign tasks
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
