Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead Category and Sales Finance for the 3P NASBP team. You will build insights from large data warehouses, automate reports, and support senior leaders with data-driven recommendations to grow the 3P business.

The role emphasizes SQL, Excel, data visualization (Tableau), and strong business judgment. You will collaborate with Category, New Seller Recruitment, and Account Management teams to translate findings into actionable strategies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Excel experience (including VBA, pivots) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build reports and analyses utilizing advanced SQL skills.
• Automate planning, deep dive and reporting models.
• Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders.
• Leverage data to increase the efficiency of our programs working closely with the business teams to drive optimization.
• Update existing and create new metrics and reporting that help drive business conclusions, continually improving reporting and analysis processes.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to help determine key business conclusions.
• Support Category, New Seller Recruitment, and Account Management teams to deliver deep dives on key business metrics and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze Seller and ASIN-level data to identify trends, surface insights, and drive data-informed decisions in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
