Zusammenfassung

Swiss Re seeks an exceptional actuary with a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to support casualty pricing for Financial Lines products in the US. You will partner with actuaries and underwriters, evaluate deals, and present pricing insights to senior management while helping steer portfolios.

This role requires 2–5 years in casualty pricing or reserving, a quantitative degree, and willingness to travel domestically; a hybrid office schedule is observed.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years' experience in a reinsurance or primary pricing or reserving function for Casualty lines of business.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Working towards ACAS/FCAS designation with minimum 3 exams.
• Knowledge of US Casualty (re)insurance markets and underwriting approaches; exposure to E&O, D&O, or Medical Malpractice is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Ensure high costing adequacy in treaty pricing across Casualty lines (General Liability, Umbrella, Motor, Professional Lines, Workers' Compensation) with a focus on Professional Lines.
• Understand and quantify impact of contract features, underwriting exposures, legal, regulatory, and societal trends.
• Communicate pricing and portfolio analyses to cross-functional deal teams and senior management; provide actionable insights.
• Lead and contribute to actuarial projects to improve underwriting performance and portfolio steering.
• Represent Swiss Re in client meetings, renewals, and underwriting audits; engage with clients and industry associations.
