Job summary
Uline, Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI, is seeking a Senior Cassandra Database Administrator to design, implement, and optimize high‑performance databases using DataStax and Apache Cassandra. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Database Management.
- Advanced knowledge of Cassandra/DataStax.
- Experience with Ansible, Python or shell scripting.
- Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex databases, tables, indexes and ETL solutions.
- Develop and implement policies and best practices across platforms.
- Partner with application teams to ensure optimal query performance.
- Provide hands-on database support with backups and recovery procedures.
