Job summary

Sodexo in Hagerstown is seeking a Senior Cashier to warmly welcome customers and process transactions via our POS system. You will handle cash and card payments accurately while delivering customer-first service.

You will also support the retail operation with setup, stocking, and cleanup, and assist in training new cashiers. Weekend shifts and varied hours apply, with a strong emphasis on reliability.

Location: IR - HAGERSTOWN CURRENCY - 12603105

Workdays/shifts: Weekends - mornings, afternoon and/or evening shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour - $18.50 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Cashier at Sodexo, you are also a warm welcomer and smile maker for our customers. You will complete transactions with a customer-first approach. You will handle cash and credit transactions from Sodexo and client customers through the operate of a cash register/POS system. Provides support to the retail operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products and assisting in cleanup and closedown.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately operate the cash register/POS and complete the transactions for food, goods or services
• May provide support to the operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup
• May be required to perform non-routine cash functions
• Assist in the training of new cashiers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
