Job summary

Systems Development and Analysis is seeking a hands-on Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) cargo targeting and risk assessment efforts. This key role demands strong data analysis skills and operational knowledge of CBP processes to identify gaps and drive improvements.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cargo targeting and a proven ability to evaluate system outputs while fostering collaboration across teams. Hybrid work flexibility is offered for this position.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience supporting CBP, DHS, or similar federal programs.
• Strong hands-on experience with cargo targeting, screening, or risk assessment operations.
• Proven ability to analyze data and apply findings to actual operational challenges.
